Jewelry keeps care packages pouring in for cancer patient

Committee recommends 2012-13 Windham budget

On May 1, the Windham Town Council Finance Committee wrapped up its final budget workshop meeting of the year, approving a budget for the upcoming fiscal year to recommend to the full Town Council. Pending council approval, the public will vote on the budget at the 2012 Windham Town Meeting on June 16. More-->

 

Windham teen beats cancer with support of community

On May 3, 15-year-old Windham resident Josh Perry-Hall underwent his final course of radiation therapy to treat his Hodgkin's lymphoma. After a battle with the disease that lasted nearly five months, the Windham High School sophomore looks to finally be out of the woods.

Since Josh's diagnosis on Dec. 27, 2011, he hasn't been alone in his fight with the cancer. He has received an outpouring of support from friends and family members, as well as from members of the Windham community. More-->
